During an unprecedented pandemic, the brand has used their talents to create thought-provoking uniforms for social activists, and unique fundraising avenues for people who’d like to show support from a safe distance.
For DVE, this isn’t about pushing products or political statements. It’s about empowering the citizens of our society to take a stand for positive change and aligning with organizations committed to doing the same.
Our hometown football team, the Detroit Lions, is one of those organizations. They were brave enough to cancel their practice on August 25th in response to the shooting of Jacob Blake by police in Kenosha Wisconsin, and take a stand against injustice in America. #DetroitVsEverybody stands in solidarity with the Detroit Lions Players & Organization against Injustice and Brutality. Inspired by their selfless actions, the brand has manufactured apparel right here in Detroit to amplify their powerful message.
